A man who died when a car collided with him near Oswestry has been named.
Jake Adrian Thomas died at the scene following the collision on the B5069 Gobowen Road close to the Orthopaedic roundabout at around 9.30pm on Monday, April 16.
An inquest was opened and adjourned this morning by assistant coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Heath Westerman.
Mr Westerman said Mr Thomas was 30 years old and lived in Oswestry.
He adjourned the hearing to August 22.
