SOME 30 children from the Hafren Rising Stars theatre school will be on stage this Saturday, March 17, at 6.30pm to present ‘Annie Junior’.

This is the shortened version of the musical based on the American comic strip ‘Little Orphan Annie’, which tells of the orphan girl during the Great Depression in New York City who is taken in by America’s richest billionaire Oliver ‘Daddy’ Warbucks.

The chance to spend a week with Warbucks rescues Annie from a life in an orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan

Although Saturday’s performance is shorter it retains many of the songs from the full musical.
