Whitchurch McDonald’s will play host to a charity cake sale and raffle at the end of the month.

Sylvia Huxley, who lives on Park Avenue, is one of the lobby ladies at McDonald’s and has been for the past five years, and the charity event is required as part of her training to become a customer experience leader.

She told The Herald: “As part of my assignment for work, I decided to do this raffle.

“Some of the staff have agreed to help me by baking cakes.

“It’s all for charity, Ronald McDonald House down in Birmingham.”

The charity day will be held on the March 30 from 11am until 5pm.
