PUPILS at Guilsfield Primary school celebrated World Book day this by dressing up as their favourite character from a book
At the school a gaglle of Harry Potter, Wally's, Witches, Gangsta Grannies and even a Biggles could be seen enjoying the day
And the teachers got into the swing of things, dressing up as their favourite fictional characters which included Snow White, Robin Hood and a Cowboy.
Headteacher, Huw Jones, said: "All the children got into the swing of things and brought their own favourite books with them to school.
"I guess there were some favourite reads, Harry Potter and anything by David Walliams is popular with our older pupils.
"The serious part of this is to encourage reading and a love of books, as part of the day, our older pupils went into classes and read out the younger pupils favourite book, one to one."
"We did actually plan to have World Book day this week, as it clashes with St David's Day here in Wales."
Huw added: "The teachers also came in our favourite characters.
"Many thought I'd dressed up as a cowboy or sheriff.
"I'm a huge Stephen King fan, and I actually came as the Gunslinger from The Dark Tower!"
