Organisers of Whitchurch Food and Drink Festival are still on the lookout for chefs for their 'Cookery Kitchen'.
The kitchen is a display event, where chefs have 45 minutes to demonstrate their abilities.
The rules stipulate the demonstration should be themed such as home baking, or based around a specific meal or selection of components.
Chefs will need to prepare sets of ingredients and stages to demonstrate how the meal is put together.
Any chefs wanting to take part will need to provide and prep their own ingredients, though additional ingredients may be available from the event's sponsors.
Brian Mellor and Stuart Collins are the Chef Hosts for the duration of the festival and will be there to guide and support chefs if required.
The festival cookery theatre is a busy segment of our event so chefs must be prepared to bring their own cooking equipment or wash and tidy up the equipment provided by 'Wot’s Cooking'.
As the event is a popular part of the festival most of the slots have been booked, but there are still places open for the Sunday.
If anybody is interested, call 01948 665761 or email tcm@whitchurchcouncil.uk
