Bitezise at the Beechtree

Whitchurch's Beechtree Centre is bringing its popular computer course back to base in Claypit Street.

The course, which is currently underway in Wem Town Hall, will start at the centre on Wednesday, April 18 and there will be four separate classes running two weeks at a time, finishing on June 13.

First up on April 18 and 25, it is introduction to keyboarding and word processing, where people can gain confidence in writing on the computer.

On May 5 and 9, it will be introduction to Internet, Internet Searches and setting up email account, learning to surf online with confidence, search for specific information and set up your own email account to send messages.

From May 16 until May 23, it is an introduction to shopping online/eBay and how to safely purchase goods on the Internet.

And the last course is an introduction to social networking – Skype/FaceTime/On Line Security, learning more about social media, how to protect yourself and your privacy and not be defrauded.
