AN APPEAL has been launched after a member of staff was assaulted at Shotton High Level railway station.
A man travelling on a train with the wrong ticket becane abusive when he was challenged by the guard.
He then left the train and continued to abuse the staff member on the platform, before grabbing the victim’s arm.
The victim was not injured in the assault at midday on Saturday, June 24.
Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image as he may have information which could help the investigation.
