POLICE are seeking the owner - or owners - of two dogs which injured and killed sheep in attacks last week.
Two attacks took place on Wednesday morning at Rhosygadfa, between St Martins and Gobowen. One flock of 11 Shropshire sheep were attacked by the unaccompanied dogs, leaving two needing veterinary care, one of which has since died. Another attack took place at nearby Sarn Farm where two in-lamb ewes were so badly injured they had to be destroyed.
The dogs are both of the Japanese Akita breed. Anyone with information should call West Mercia Police in confidence on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
