A PACKED audience put North Shropshire's parliamentary candidates through their paces last night at the Oswestry Hustings.
Owen Paterson (Conservatives), Tom Thornhill (Lib Dems), Graeme Currie (Labour), Duncan Kerr (Greens) and Andrea Allen (UKIP) faced a series of questions on topics ranging from defence and the NHS, to society and three-party politics. Around 200 people filled the Methodist Church Hall for the two-hour debate which was chaired by Rev. Simon Thorburn and organised by Churches Together. For a full breakdown of the hustings see next week's Advertizer.
