The New Saints Football Club have announced that Jamie Reed has signed for the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions.
The Saints have moved quickly to secure the services of the former York City forward who was a free agent after returning to the United Kingdom from a spell in Australia.
Born in Chester, Reed made his debut for Wrexham in 2005 before successful spells at Rhyl and Bangor City.
Reed then joined York City in 2011 and was a regular part of the team that won promotion to the Sky Bet League Two.
During his time with The Minstermen, Reed also won the 2012 FA Trophy, before leaving to join Cambridge United.
A spell at Chester City followed before his move Down Under where he played for South Melbourne. Whilst in Australia's 'Second City' the striker scored an impressive 13 goals in 24 appearances.
The 27 year old will be eligible to play for TNS once the transfer window opens in January.
Reed will wear the number 19 shirt for The Saints.
