WEST Mercia Police are seeking to trace the driver of a van involved in a collision with a moped in Oswestry on Monday morning.
The silver transit type van collided with a blue Piaggio Zip 100cc moped at approximately 5.30am on Morton Lane.
The rider of the moped sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital, and the driver of the van left the scene without stopping. There was also damage caused to the moped.
Police are urging anyone who may know the identity of the van driver, or anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 421 of 8th June.
