SAM FINLEY would love to link up with Craig Harrison again but the midfielder wants to remain at Wrexham whoever takes over as manager.
Finley was brought in on loan until the end of the season from Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints by Kevin Wilkin, who has since been sacked as Reds’ boss.
TNS are currently managed by Harrison who is favourite for the manager’s job at The Racecourse and Finley believes it would be an excellent appointment.
“I have seen a few rumours and I think Craig is favourite with the bookmakers and that would be great,” said Finley. “That would be ideal for me because he knows how I play and he deserves a shot in my opinion but we will have to see.
“No matter who comes in, hopefully the potential manager has been watching the last few games and seen what I have got to offer.”
Wrexham are unbeaten in three matches under caretaker manager Carl Darlington who is no stranger to Finley as he was on the coaching staff at TNS prior to linking up with the Reds in December.
Finley has started every game since Darlington took temporary charge and he is pleased with how things are going.
