THE sun shone on what must have been one of the hottest days of the year for Builth Wells Carnival.
As a result the crowds turned out and there was plenty for everybody.
The judging of the floats and fancy dress entrants took place on the Groe before the carnival procession toured the town.
The overall top place in the carnival floats went to Mr A.W. Brown and family of Llanelwedd with their entry: ‘Rocky Mountain Gold Rush Homecoming’.
