A SPECTACULAR range of wild birds come to the British Ironwork Centre this weekend when AC Falconry hosts a special event.

The organisation now has a permanent home at the BIC’s Aston base.

The display on Saturday marks the start of a long and theatrical future for a wide variety of falconry experiences and demonstrations at the centre.

Each bird will be introduced to the public along with an opportunity not only to learn about each of the species but to see many of them in flight.

Clive Knowles, chairman of the centre, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer the display to local people – this represents the first event featuring AC Falconry’s wonderful birds of prey, and an exciting programme of events, including further displays and bird of prey experiences, will be announced shortly.”

The display begins at 10.30am.
