THERE is still time for amateur local photographers to snap a picutre of what they love about living in Ellesmere for a chance to win up to £250.
The photography contest, organised by Persimmon Homes, has invited enthusiastic amateur photographers of all ages to submit an eye-catching image that perfectly illustrates what is so special about Ellesmere.
Stephen Cleveley, sales director for Persimmon West Midlands, said: “Ellesmere offers so much to see, with the Mere and canal, woodlands walks and a bustling market town.
“We wanted to celebrate all those things that make living in Ellesmere so special. So we are inviting residents to share with us the views and images that they love about the town and its surrounding landscape.”
Keen snappers can email up to three photographs (jpeg format, maximum size 2MB each) to firstname.lastname@example.org – not forgetting to include their name, postal address, telephone number and age.
Each entry should include a description of when it was taken and why that particular view is important to the photographer.
The closing date for entries is midnight on Thursday, July 31.
