SHEEPDOG trials are to be held at the Tynrhyd, Selattyn.

The farm (SY10 7NY) will be host the Welsh National Sheepdog Trials from July 31 to August 2, following discussions with the competition president Alun Jones.

The British Iron Work Centre will create sheepdog trophies and a full flock of sheep to auction.

Clive Knowles, chairman of the centre, said: “The Welsh National Sheepdog Trials is a huge event into which Alun and his team have put an enormous amount of time and effort – we are only too pleased to be able to offer our support.”
