A VERY special Christmas tree remembering dozens of loved ones has gone on display at Chirk Community Hospital.
The annual Tree of Light was unveiled for 2013 in a service that saw more than 300 stars featuring the names of people who have died placed on the branches of the tree.It is situated in the hospital’s reception area.
The hospital’s Circle of Friends asks local people to put forward names each year for the tree.

Sybil Jones, chairman of the Friends, said: “It was absolutely marvellous. The place was packed with people of all ages and they enjoyed carol singing, mince pies and refreshments – it was lovely.
“We had 300 names on stars, which is great because this is the third year and it’s grown year-on-year, and now we are just waiting to see how much was raised.”
