NEW leaflets offering useful information about Ellesmere in 2014 have been produced by the town’s Chamber of Commerce and Ellesmere Town Council.
20,000 copies of the free information leaflet have been made to inform visitors to the town of events, businesses and interesting facts about the market town.
Lincoln McMullan, chairman of the Ellesmere Chamber of Commerce, said: “The leaflet is great for locals as well as tourists because it tells them all the dates of events in the town, so it really benefits everyone.”

The A3 information sheet contains a map of the town with street names, a list of local businesses and suggestions for activities to do in the town.
Additional details including the history of Ellesmere and the waterways, churches and schools have been added to the leaflet.
“It gives people essential information but also gives them some interesting facts,” added Mr McMullan.
The leaflet is currently in the Tourist Information Centre and will soon be available in various restaurants, cafes and shops around the town early in 2014.
