A WOMAN was attacked while walking her dog on an Anglesey beauty spot.
A stranger approached the woman and struck her with her with his walking stick at around 1pm on Tuesday at the Penrhos nature reserve in Holyhead.
The woman suffered minor injuries and has been left shaken by the incident.
The man is described as being white, in his thirties, of medium build and height.
He was wearing a black beanie hat and scarf, a blue coat with a white emblem on the chest, olive trousers and was carrying a rucksack.
“We are appealing for any witnesses who may have been walking in the nature reserve at the time or who use the area regularly to report any suspicious circumstances or people they may have seen there,” Detective Inspector Gareth Evans said.
