Missing: Haydn Evans.

THE family of a missing teenager has made an emotional appeal for his safe return.

Haydn Mark Evans, 18, from Mold, was last seen at the entrance of Carden Park Hotel, near Chester, at about 1am on Saturday where he had been celebrating with his colleagues from MPH Construction of Mold.

His father Graham was also at the hotel for the Christmas party. Haydn failed to get into a minibus at the end of the night and the family has not heard from him since.

His stepsister Jade Conway, 26, from Ellesmere Port, said: “We have heard nothing at all. We are just waiting and hoping for the best. It is very worrying.

“We are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch so we can get Haydn home safely.

“He had work on Monday he would not have missed work.

“Everything that can be done is being done.”

Haydn lives in Maes Y March with his 17-year-old brother Ben, father Graham and stepmother Kim.

His family also includes sister Nicola, brothers Richard and Terry and stepbrother Jamie.

A spokesman for MPH Construction said: “We have every sympathy with Graham and his family. We are doing everything we can to help.”

Extensive searches were being carried out by Cheshire Police as they continued their search for Haydn. They say they are worried about him given the freezing weather conditions over the weekend and are urging householders to check their outbuildings, sheds or garages in case Haydn has taken shelter from the cold weather.

Jade is making regular appeals on Facebook and Haydn’s family has been looking for him and trying to gather information as to his whereabouts. She said: “His dad and brothers have been out looking. They have been talking to his friends trying to get information. Nobody has seen him, nobody has heard from him.

“It is all over Facebook, that should help. People have been getting the word out.”

Haydn is approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt and trousers. He was not wearing a jacket or coat but he may have had some money and his mobile phone.

Police would like to hear from any dog walkers or anyone who went walking in the countryside around Carden Park Hotel if they saw anybody fitting Haydn’s description.

They also want to talk to anyone, including taxi drivers, travelling on the A41 Whitchurch Road, or A534 Wrexham Road, during the early hours of Saturday who saw anyone fitting the description.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call the police on 101.
