Unusual Gifts that will Bring Joy This Christmas

Every year we try and come up with that something special, unique (yet not too expensive in these times) that will wow our partners, but oh so many fail year after year.

Generally speaking, it tends to be women who are more creative and tend to put more effort into getting that something special; this is coming from a guilty man’s perspective. We can’t generalize and say that all men are useless when it comes to buying gifts, but on average it is most likely going to be men who make those last minute dashes to the 24 hour local garage.

The problem with trying to be unique is that it is extremely “hit and miss”. There is rarely middle ground when it comes to unusual gifts because they can be a huge hit on the day they’re received, due to their uniqueness or usefulness. This seemingly “unique usefulness” often seeps away with time and sees it consigned to the attic to gather dust.
The alternative response to unusual gifts is simply a polite, “Oooh, how unusual, thank you!” that’s followed by a somewhat awkward, yet completely fake prolonged admiration of the item as it is gingerly placed next to some of the more desirable gifts.

The big challenge is how to play it safe whilst simultaneously being able to demonstrate that plenty of thought and consideration has gone into the choice of gift. You may argue that “playing it safe” contradicts the whole idea of “unusual gifts” that will bring joy, but you would be sorely mistaken in this context. We are not talking about playing it safe through the purchase of gift vouchers or useful everyday items that possess absolutely zero excitement when the recipient purchases them or receives them as a gift.

We are talking about pushing the adventure boat right out and investing in a sex toy to spice up your sex life and in so doing, transporting your loved one to unbridled joy in the bedroom all year round!
Sex toys are very much a main stream product today and you can buy them on the high street from stores that have become household names like Anne Summers. Admittedly you need to feel confident that your partner is indeed open to being more adventurous, but at the same time you can rest assured that there are plenty of products on the market that are discreet and specifically made for the first timer.

So don’t worry about the reaction of someone opening a hideous appendage under the Christmas tree, or where you’re going to hide it once opened. The industry has come a long way and have taken these concerns into consideration so there is something for everyone out there that won’t offend and that is pretty much guaranteed to bring joy to your loved one this Christmas.
