HUNDREDS of people are expected to attend a memorial service to celebrate the lives of Susan and Frankie McFall.

Those wishing to attend the service  today (Tuesday) at St Oswald’s Parish Church, Oswestry at 1.30pm have been asked to wear bright colours to pay tribute to the 56-year-old mother and her 18-year-old daughter who were found dead at their home in Hampton Road, Oswestry on Friday, February 5.

Hours later the body of wholesale florist Hugh McFall - Sue’s husband and Frankie’s father - was found at his lock up in St Martins.

Police believe he killed his wife and daughter before taking his own life.
While an inquest is yet to be concluded, the memorial service will at least allow family and friends to finally lay their loved ones to rest.

Over recent weeks tributes have flooded in for the family, with daughter Frankie described by teachers as simply ‘the best of the best.’

St Oswald’s vicar the Reverend Simon Thorburn said the dress code reflected the personalities of the two women and was a fitting tribute.

He said there would also be popular hymns including “Morning Has Broken” and “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” readings and a family tribute.

Those wanting to make donations in memory of Susan and Frankie McFall are asked to do so, through funeral directors David Davies and Sons, to Hope House Children’s Respite Hospice.

Police have said investigations are ongoing, but that it may still be months before the events leading up to the tragedy can be finally pieced together.
