MP to consult Home Office over Oswestry's GHB problem

OSWESTRY’S ongoing battle  with the lethal party drug GHB will again be brought to the attention of the Home Secretary, the area’s MP has confirmed.

North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson said he believes the situation must be  targeted and would be contacting West Mercia Police to discuss the recent increased use of the drug in Oswestry, before returning to Home Secretary
Theresa May.
He had previously contacted Mrs May last Summer following raids by the police force and a campaign to have the drug reclassified in The Advertizer, aimed at increasing the drug from Class C to B.
But following last week’s Advertizer report that GHB had returned to the area, Mr
Paterson, pictured below, confirmed he would again take up the cause.
