POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a raid by three balaclava-wearing men on a pub in Weston Rhyn yesterday morning (Monday).
The burglars were disturbed by the occupants at the Plough Inn, but stole a quantity of case from gaming machines and a pool table, before fleeing on foot.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said they may have had a car parked some distance from the premises.
They added that the break-in happened at around 6am and entry was gained via a door.
Information can be given to Oswestry police station by calling the 101 non-emergency number, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
