Blistering temperatures across the country ensured a great turnout for this year’s Ellesmere Food and Drink Festival.
Thousands of foodies enjoyed tastes from all over the world at the event which took place in Ellesmere Town Hall and Market Hall.
Organiser, Lincoln McMullan said ice cream and cider was the top seller for 2017 because of the heat.
“It went very well again,” he added. “Everyone was happy because it was so sunny and the stallholders are already waiting for next year’s festival.”
Specialty food for the 11th festival included pizza cones, a huge selection of gins, waffles, Polish sausages and baklava.
There was plenty of selection with about 46 different stalls laid out across the two sites.
