This weekend, Oswestry Musical Theatre Company will be bringing Stephen Sondheim's smash musical 'Into the Woods' to the town.

And to help promote the performances, local film production company Rocking Horse Studio have supported the group by filming a flash mob that took place in the middle of Oswestry.

Sondheim's complex storyline tells of four central characters Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame) and the childless Baker and his wife. Each embarking on a journey 'Into the Woods' to try and fulfil their respective dreams and the way their individual stories cross and intertwine with each other . As to be expected with Stephen Sondheim, things are far from being 'Happy Ever After'.

The show opens on Thursday, April 12 at Marches School Theatre and has four performances: April 12 at 7:30pm, April 13 at 7:30pm and the April 14 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm.

Tickets priced £12.00/£8.00 are now on sale; in person from Christian Jewellers, Bailey St, Oswestry and online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/omtc.
