Weston Rhyn Festival saw fun activities spread across Friday and Saturday to celebrate crafts, hobbies, arts and collections.

Friday evening saw the launch of an exhibition in St John’s Church of work by individuals and groups.

Peter Bevington, who helped at the event, said: “It went well and we were blessed with the sunshine.

“The show in the Village Hall had a much-improved entry of more than 100.

“Visitors were offered the chance to have a go at bowling on the green, making a community poem and a community work of art.

“A few classic cars from the village were on display as well as a Ferrari 458 Spider, just returned from the 2017 Gumball Rally – it was a great afternoon.”
