AN OSWESTRY band are set to play at the world famous Cavern Club.

Shameless Faith are looking forward to the biggest gig of their career at the Liverpool club on Saturday March 8.

The band are now going into their eighth year together and have sold around 1,000 copies of their self funded album 'Stands to Reason'.

DJ's on City Radio Liverpool have hailed the group's work as "fantastic" and posed the question "why haven't they signed to a professional label yet?"

Alfie Edwards, Shameless Faith's bassist said: "It's like a dream come true to be able to play at the Cavern.

"We want as many of our fans, friends and family as possible to be there."

The band are putting on a coach from Oswestry to Liverpool to take anyone who wants to go along.

The coach will be leaving at 7pm on March 8 and will leave Liverpool at around 12.30am.

Tickets for the coach cost £10 per person and entry into the Cavern will be £4.50.

A flyer, available from the band, will get you into the Cavern for £3.50.

For more information, contact Alfie on 07815819108.
