Likening himself to Jack Johnson, acoustic singer/songwriter Lester Clayton describes his music as "Summer songs about understanding amongst people and other topics young people can relate to."
Lester said: "We are very laid back and mix reggae, pop, soul and folk.
"My band is made up of myself, a rastafarian percussionist and a cypriot Bass player, and i'd like to think we represent something real which the current music scene is missing, where colour and the way we look isnt more important than the music, and that is the message we try to get across to youth."
Recently, the band supported Pete Doherty and Just Jack, and have played over 200 gigs in London in the past year, including gigs for the BBC.
Lester said: "Im currently recording an album which shall be released next year.
"We also have a documentary being made about us at the moment aswell, which will be shown on Youtube and hopefully some TV at some point in the future!
"It's all really exciting to be honest," he added.
Local support acts Sian Louise and Lloyd Davies will support Lester when he plays at the Ironworks on July 18,
Lester said about his supporting artists: "They are absolutely awesome, with poetic voices and powerful lyrics which I think will really complement us on the night, search them up on myspace, they're awesome!"
