A SPACE exploration legend who guided man’s first landing on the Moon is coming to Mid Wales. Jerry Bostick was a NASA flight controller during the Apollo, Mercury, Gemini and Skylab programmes and was portrayed in the 1995 film “Apollo 13” by Ray McKinnon.
LLANFYLLIN Show 2017 brought Bodfach Park to life on Saturday, August 12, with a record breaking event. Year on year there were bigger crowds through the gate and many more entries in horticulture, sheep classes and other competitions.
DRAMA students at Llanfyllin High School have won the chance to train with national dance and theatre groups. Esther Humphreys will train with the National Youth Dance of Wales and Alex Hinks has won a place to train with the National Youth Theatre of Wales.
